Sean & Suzanne Part 1 - Stotesbury Mansion, Philadelphia, Pa

Here is a sneak peak of a few images from Sean & Suzanne. The wedding was held at the beautiful Stotesbury Mansion on Walnut Street near Rittenhouse Square. We were able to take advantage of the unseasonably warm weather and take pictures at Rittenhouse Square. Suzanne & Sean were sooo excited about the wedding...Suzanne was glowing with happiness the entire time. What a great couple. More photos to follow next week but here are a few.

Having a good time.

The History of the Stotesbury Mansion:
In case you haven't heard about the Stotesbury Mansion it is also listed as the Philopatrian Literary Institute in many wedding publications. The mansion was commissioned to be built by a wealthy billionaire decedent of a Declaration of Independence signer. The ballroom was built by 500 men in Europe over the course of a whole year and arrived here by boat. The building contains the "Dolly Madison" fireplace from the White house (yes the one in Washington DC). During the prohibition the building contained secret passage ways and mirrors to allow the "party"to continue. At one point Minnesota Fats has played pool in the billiards room upstairs. First Lady
Jacqueline Kennedy tried to negotiate for its fireplace purchase in 1961 when she was renovating the White House but she was not successful.
