Eco friendly weddings are all the rave. Want to host a green wedding? Start by nixing the paper wedding invites. Sure, I love fancy paper wedding invitations (especially ones done on a letter press), but if you are looking to minimize your wedding's green impact, consider going 21st century and emailing the invites. Not only will this save paper & trees but it will cut down on gas spent by the postal service.
Another option is to make sure your paper supplier uses unbleached high post consumer content recycled paper.
This tip isn't for everyone but it will be a hit with the eco friendly brides and brides on tight budgets. (Hey you could add the money you saved on invites to pay for a fancy wedding photographer).
