Wedding Tattoos: The Ring Alternative

If you're not really into wearing jewelry or you want to try something different, wedding tattoos might be the way to go. More and more alternative couples are choosing to get tattoos on their ring fingers to commemorate their wedding day and there are many different options for tattoos in this place. Some couple choose to get their wedding date tattooed on their finger, others choose to ink their spouse's initials or name. Another option in to design a symbol or symbols that mean something to you as a couple or to just tattoo a simple band or ring design on your hand.
Some people think that wedding band tattoos are not the smartest idea because they are a lot harder to remove than a ring, but it's just a way to show how extremely committed you are. You may want to consider your job or future plans, though, when deciding whether or not to get ring tattoos because unlike some other tattoo locations, your hands are not as easily covered when or if your tattoo needs to be hidden. If you think that having a tattoo on your hand may inhibit you, but love the idea of special tattoos, you might want to consider getting wedding tattoos on another part of your body and choosing to wear actual rings or even no rings at all.
