A Perfect Steampunk Wedding Venue: The Phoenixville Foundry

The Foundry in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania would be a great location for a steampunk wedding. The building was built in the late 1800's and was used for almost 100 years as a steel plant for the Phoenix Iron & Steel Company. When the steel industry slowed down the building was bought out by a development group, who restored the building while still keeping the old steel factory's character in mind.

Currently, the building is being used as an event space. With 18,000 square feet total and a grand ballroom accounting for almost half of that, this building has plenty of space for even the biggest alternative wedding. The Foundry has suites for the wedding party to get ready in and a kitchen for the caterers of your event to set up shop in. There is also the option of an outdoor wedding here as well.
