UponOurStar is a little different than your normal wedding registry. Instead of registering for household items and other things that more and more couples now have before getting married, you can set up a wish registry for things that you could really use and put your guests money towards those wishes instead. Some sample registries were for wishes for help paying for a house or a contribution to a college education fund for future children. This site cuts down on the awkwardness of asking for money instead of gifts and helps your guests help you start your new phase of life together. Some people may still balk at the idea of an alternative registry, but giving towards what would actually help is usually all most of your guests will really want to do.
